My Self Referral is a new, simple and confidential way for young people to refer themselves for support for non-urgent or crisis cases without needing to see a GP or healthcare professional. Worth-It – Positive Mental Health & Wellbeing Support for Schools

Worth-it is dedicated to preventing mental health problems through developing positive mental health and wellbeing in children and young people.

Worth-it was founded with the aim to apply evidence-based approaches of positive psychology and coaching psychology to create real change and prevent mental health problems for children and young people. This developed into our innovative approach to prevention, through improving wellbeing and developing positive mental health.

Worth-it’s fun and engaging resilience and wellbeing workshops give children and young people the opportunity to explore a variety of resources for supporting resilience and developing wellbeing. The sessions encourage the development of positive coping strategies, helping participants to better manage the pressures and challenges they face in their daily lives.

Shout is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone struggling to cope. As a digital service, Shout 85258 has become increasingly critical since Covid-19, being one of the few mental health support services able to operate as normal at this time.

Our trained volunteers are there for you 24/7 to listen and support you to get to a calmer and safe place. Shout is a free, a service for anyone in the UK. It won’t appear on your phone bill.

Stem4 is a charity that promotes positive mental health in teenagers and those who support them including their families and carers, education professionals, as well as school nurses and GPs through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention.

Free online courses covering low mood, stress and resilience. Work out why you feel as you do, how to tackle problems, build confidence, get going again, feel happier, stay calm, tackle upsetting thinking and more. Our courses are free for individuals using them in their own lives.

Lots of people struggle at times in life. Living Life to the Full teaches a range of life skills that are based on the tried and trusted cognitive behavioural therapy approach, aiming to improve wellbeing and resilience as you go through the journey of life.

Each course offers free modules including worksheets to print off and use. There is the option to upgrade to add additional features such as linked online books and additional course modules.
