- ‘MOT Clinics’ – These are annual health checks for patients that have a Chronic Illness including COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hypertension, Atrial Fibrillation and History of Stroke/TIA
- Family planning advice and pill checks
- Anticoagulation therapy

Pinfold Medical Practice has a large team of Patient Coordinators who are happy to help you with any aspect of making appointments for the various clinics that we run. They have a high demanding job, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries from all directions.

The Primary Care Trust also employs district nurses and health visitors who work closely with the practice.
Community Nurse Team
The community nurse team consists of a sister, staff nurses and auxiliary nurses. Their duties include visiting patients of any age in their homes, giving practical assistance and professional advice. They may be contacted through the surgery.
Health Visitor
Health visitors play a major role in providing routine developmental checks for young children, and helping with health queries.
Midwife
The practice midwife holds antenatal clinics at the surgery on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, and sometimes on a Friday morning. She will also visit patients at home. The midwife offers full antenatal care, hospital delivery, postnatal home visiting and baby check-ups.
