Named Accountable GP

From 1st April 2015, practices are required to allocate a named, accountable GP to all patients, including children.

Your named GP will be responsible for your overall care at the practice and take responsibility for coordinating other medical services you may need here as part of your care. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do.

If you are over 75, your named GP will also work with other relevant health and social care professionals to ensure you receive the best all-round care to match your specific health needs.

If you reside in a nursing home your care will be continue to be delivered by the regular visiting GP.

All patients at Pinfold Medical Practice have been assigned a named GP, and you can be advised of this at your next interaction with the practice.

Alternatively, Patients can contact the practice at any time to find out who their named GP is.
